It was raining lightly last evening when I got to the Tysons tower buildings
about 8:10, and the sky was full of nighthawks. They were low and actively
feeding.
I soon moved over to the other side of Gallows Road, where it was easier,
and drier in the car, to look at the birds spread out across the sky. There
were about 30-plus birds. It looked ever-so-much like an aerial
ballet;Very nice indeed.
