Rob Hilton and I arrived at the Purple Gallinule spot in Waynesboro at about
9:40am Sunday (6/15). We met up with Mike O'Brien, along with some local
birders, and I think Mike had been there for 40 minutes or so before us. We
did not see the gallinule up to the point that Rob and I left at noon. I'm not
sure how much longer Mike stuck around. Please continue to post sightings and
non-sightings, especially for those of us who hope it's still around.
