This morning I was happy to see a Brown Thrasher on my suet. Moments later
another tried to join the first but was discouraged with a peck or two. In
all the years I've fed birds I've never seen Thrashers at the suet. The
Carolina Wrens seemed mightily put out. Out on the Rappahannock there were
350 Ruddy Ducks & 80 Canvasback. Nest building for Olivia & Ollie Osprey
was the task for the day. Olivia did most of the work but every once in a
while Ollie would bring a small stick.
