Hello Everyone,
The past couple of mornings I decided to head out to see if the winds brought
anything with them and to see if any migrants were about. Both days were slow,
but yesterday Riverbend Park in Fairfax County head a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER and a
few MAGNOLIA WARBLERS in a mixed flock on the meadow. There were others with
them that I did not get on, so I may have missed additional species. I didn't
note any Empidonax at all.
Today at Fort CF Smith Park in Arlington, two BARN SWALLOWS circled a few times
before continuing south.
