Yesterday (Monday, August 6) at about 6:15 p.m. my son and I paddled out to the
freshwater marsh at the western edge of the central Piedmont lake where two
juvenile White Ibis had been seen on July 20 and August 2. To our surprise, we
found THREE birds this time. The location is in eastern Buckingham County,
which had no previous records of this species.
