Occoquan NWR was windy and cold this morning, but birding was still pretty
good. Highlights were a Lincoln's sparrow in the vegetation on the right just
past the culvert on the wildlife drive, a late osprey, an American pipit flying
over the parking lot, a juvenile white-crowned sparrow near Painted Turtle
pond, a male northern harrier, a flock of tree swallows, and a Caspian tern.
