Strong north-northwest winds and damp conditions continued today.
Raptor Observations:
Just a handful of birds were noted during some coverage early in the day
today.
Non-raptor Observations:
Two Cave Swallows were noted at the Kiptopeke fishing pier today.
Shorebirds on the plowed fields on Arlington Road and Custis Tomb Road the
last couple of days have included about a thousand Black-bellied Plovers,
500 Dunlin, 60 or so Killdeer, 25 Semipalmated Plovers and a Western
Sandpiper.
