VA-Birders,
Cool, calm morning started slow, and warmed up nicely after 8 when I joined
Jeff Wneck and Ana Arguelles on Deephole Point Road. We'd both found the
expected Magnolia, Common Yellowthroat, and Northern Parula. We went on to find
3 Northern Waterthrush, a beautiful, posing 1st year Prothonotary, 3 American
Redstarts, 2 Chestnut-sided, and 1 each of Black and White, Cape May,
Black-throated Green, and Palm. We also enjoyed seeing Red and White-eyed
Vireo, a nice mix of raptors, and various others. Complete list below.
