Had an excellent morning (51 species) at Fenwick Mines in Craig County. Best
bird was an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER hawking insects from a snag across the road
from the wetland (photos available). Another surprise was a RED-BREASTED
NUTHATCH singing from the pines along the road. Also had nine warbler species,
including one NASHVILLE and two TENNESSEE WARBLERS. Full checklist below.
