At about 5:00 this afternoon I saw an Orange-crowned Warbler along the
Meadow Trail at Blandy Experimental Farm (Clarke County). The bird was in a
thicket of silky dogwood and buttonbush near the smaller of the two
boardwalks, just a little west of Rattlesnake Spring.
Other birds in the area included a single Lincoln's Sparrow mixed in with a
flock of Song, White-throated, and Field. There were lots of American
Robins and Cedar Waxwings in the crabapples.
