Below are links to a video I have made called "Osprey Love Nest" about the
pair of Ospreys who are nesting at the Belle Haven Marina on the Potomac
River just south of Alexandria, Virginia. The nest is on a platform that
was put up near a boat ramp, not far from the shore. My camera has a 42
power zoom, so I have been able to get close footage without disturbing the
birds. One distressing item in the video is the extent to which these
Ospreys incorporate plastic bags and pieces of plastic into their nest.
