I've been anxiously anticipating the return of MY Ospreys on the
Rappahannock River in the Northern Neck. I left the house just before dark
last night with no Ospreys in sight, & my neighbor texted me 30 minutes
later saying they had come HOME!
This morning 5 Ospreys were claiming their spots, fishing & getting on with
the business of making baby Ospreys. Spring is here.
As a side note, I had 7 Northern Shovelers on the river today, the first
for my YARD list.
