This week I have seen several Osprey from the Ninth Street Bridge that
crosses the James River in downtown Richmond. Last year there were three
or four active nests visible from the bridge, and from my high perch in
the city bus I could sometimes see six or eight birds simultaneously
while crossing the bridge. I saw three birds on Thursday.
