It's only a short wooded path from the Riverview Farm Park visitor center
to the James River overlook, but some nice warblers were present this
morning. Palm warblers were active in the trees and along the fence rail of
the
adjacent pasture. Flickers were also in high concentration for this small
area.
A raccoon who was completely unconcerned with my presence walked by me,
climbed to his favorite crotch in the tree and went to sleep.
