Between 8:30 and 1:00 today, another fine group of migrants was seen at
the Park..based on four survey years (2005-2008), this level of density
and diversity of Warblers is occurring at a very early date indeed.
Migration appears to be breaking much earlier than past years. Very
favorable evening northerly winds have been present throughout the month
at timely intervals.

(2) Chestnut- sided Warbler - middle stream canopy and lower stream
understory
(1) Black-throated Blue Warbler -- female in upper stream area and male
in lower stream
(1) Black & White Warbler -- lower stream
(1) Blackburnian Warbler. -- female in canopy in lower stream
(7) Redstarts -- 2 Redstarts, the rest Yellowstarts...all three
sections of the Park
(3) Red-eyed Vireo
(1) E. Wood Peewee
(1) Yellow-billed Cuckoo
(1) RT Hummingbird
(1) Red-tailed Hawk -- immature
