This morning at about 7:00 there was a single piping plover on the Salt Ponds
public beach (very north end of 1st St).
I've been seeing semipalmated plovers, semipalmated sandpipers, spotted
sandpipers, and least sandpipers, but this is the first piping I've seen in the
area.
Not sure if it's that interesting since I'm an out-of-state birder! :-)
It was still there when I left.
