Birds question. Dr. May, originally from Northern Virginia, details the

In addition to the explanations there, Dr. May added that birds âlean or
position their body in such a way that they expose as much surface area as
possible at an angle perpendicular to the direction of sunlight to maximize
absorption of solar radiation.â Â
