After a long drive with our hearts in our throats, we arrived where the Purple
Gallinule has been seen in Waynesboro. While parking we could see a family
with major glass and we knew we had not traveled in vain. This bird is most
obliging and seems accustomed to his/her rock star status. We were there
around 11:15 am and the family with cameras said they'd been there since 10 am.
