Greetings to all:
Yesterday evening on the way home from work a rather large black bird flew
about 50 feet in front of me as I drove across the Dan River on Hwy 360
East. It flew straight up the road just a head of a car only a few feet
behind the bird. Just as I was about to catch up to it, it gained a few
feet of height above the bridge and then glided over the side of the railing
and out of sight.
Due to the bird's size I thought that it might have been a Raven.
Well, just as I was unlocking the front door where I work to start the day a
large black bird started flying straight towards me and only a few feet
above the trees from across Hwy 58. As the bird got closer another black
bird appeared and started attacking the larger black bird.
After a few minutes the birds flew across the highway and turned east just
in front of me, giving me a great look at a Raven and a mad Crow.
Good Birding Always
