After reading Donald Sweig's report of Horned Grebes seen yesterday along the
Potomac near Collingwood Picnic area, I drove down there this afternoon. I
did not see them at Collingwood. I then tried all the other viewing areas from
Riverside to Belle Haven but had no luck.
If anyone does see them in our area, I would be grateful if you would let me
know. I would love to see one in breeding plumage.
