The Roanoke Valley Bird Club has only one more field trip scheduled for the
spring. Below are the particulars. Visitors are always welcome to attend.
Alyce Quinn
Warbler Road, Sunday, May 9, 7 a.m.This is a Sunday trip and one of the most
fun field trips of the year, generally lasting through mid-afternoon.
Extremely rewarding with lots of good views of warblers, tanagers and other
migrants. Meet leaders Tim and Alyce Quinn at the Bojangles at Botetourt
Commons on Rt. 220. Tim and Alyce Quinn, leaders. There are few areas to pull
off the road, so please be prepared to carpool. Bring a lunch and some warm
clothing (it may be chilly as we ascend to higher elevations).
