[Va-bird] Redhead Arrival off Dyke Marsh, Frfx Co, 19 Oct 09

VA BIRDers,

 

After work at sundown I viewed the Potomac from the picnic area and noted a
single young Redhead mixed in with 3 Ring-necked Ducks about 200 yrds off
the shore.  No swallows or swifts, which was a surprise considering the
large group over Blue Plains (DC) as I drove home.
