Good morning on this sunny, 14F, start of the day,
This is a Backyard Feederwatch count day. We had 13 Red-winged Blackbirds
enjoying breakfast. Also, and unfortunately (sorry fans of this specie), there
were five Brown-headed Cowbirds mixed in with them.
In addition to our winter regulars: Dark-eyed Junco,Tufted Titmouse, Carolina
Chickadee, Northern Cardinal, Mourning Dove, Downy and Red-bellied Woodpecker,
Blue Jay, and Northern Mockingbird, five Eastern Bluebirds and a Yellow-rumped
Warbler have been regular visitors for sometime now.
Good birding to all,
Jay and Carol Hadlock
