This morning at about 9 AM I had an adult white-phase Snow Goose amid
hundreds of Canada Geese on Borden Spring Pond at Federal Hill in Clarke
County (there is also a white domestic goose on the pond). Other waterfowl
on the pond included 3 Tundra Swans (including an adult-plumaged bird
lacking a yellow lores), Gadwall, Mallards, Ring-necked Ducks, a Greater
Scaup hen, Canvasback, and a Hooded Merganser. A little further north I had
15 Rusty Blackbirds at a marshy spot on the south side of the White Post
Dairy.
