Julie Harrison reported no martins landed on 9/2. Jupiter and its moons
were still visible, though. If anyone happens by and there are more martins
passing through it would be interesting to hear about them. On 8/30, Sue
Ridd estimated about 650 birds and said that they were completely gone by
9/7 last year. Very few martins have been reported in Northern Va. lately.
