Birded the park and river this afternoon. Many less ducks that just two days
ago. Still there: Ringnecks, Coots, a few Lessor Scaup, a few Common
Mergansers, a pair of Hooded Mergansers, a pair of Wood Ducks, some
Bufflehead, no Wigeon today, a few Redheads and a couple of Canvasbacks
,and the Red-necked Grebe. In the parking lot a FOS Phoebe, flying around
and calling; NICE! Also one Winter Wren. Sunday had one FOS Double-crested
Cormorant.
Looks like spring is creeping in.
