I'm posting this for Bill and Katie James. This morning (Tues) they spotted a
male Western Tanager
on one of their sunflower feeders. It may have ridden in on yesterday's big
storm. The bird has been
observed regularly throughout the day and was still present this evening around
6pm. The James have
said anyone is welcome to try for the bird. Someone will post in the morning to
let you know if the tanager
is still present. The James request that you call for directions and to let
them know you're coming.
