Weather:
Windy and chilly on the mountain! It certainly didn't feel like early
September. Strong NW Winds throughout the day, and 11.7-17C temps. No
clouds early but partly cloudy this afternoon. Clear visibility.
Raptor Observations:
A decent raptor flight highlighted by a good late day push of Bald Eagles.
BE Flight: 10:02 adult, 12:38 1st-YR, 2:00 adult, 3:08 adult (x2), 3:20
group of three (2 adults, 1 1st-YR), 3:24 adult, 3:36 2nd-YR, 3:47 adult,
4:05 1st-YR, and 4:35 1st-YR. First Raptor: 8:50 OS, Last Raptor: 4:50 OS.
Non-raptor Observations:
39 Chimney Swifts, 57 Hummingbirds, 5 Cedar Waxwings, 1 Eastern Kingbird,
and 3 Monarch Butterflies.
