[Va-bird] Rose-breasted Grosbeak In Warren County, April 11, 2015

A male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was observed in the walnut tree above our
feeders today, Saturday, April 11, 2015.  Our feeders are located in the
suburbs of glorious, downtown, Limeton, Virginia.  Limeton is located about
six miles south of Front Royal, Virginia, along US Route 340.

The Pine Siskin are not present this week.  They have been replaced with
Purple Finch.

The following birds were seen at or near our feeders this morning from 0745
to 0900:

Mourning Dove - 1
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2
Downy Woodpecker - 2
Eastern Phoebe - 1
Blue Jay - 1
American Crow - 5
Carolina Chickadee - 2
Tufted Titmouse - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Carolina Wren - 1
American Robin - 1
European Starling - 3
Field sparrow - 1
Song Sparrow - 3
Northern Cardinal - 4
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 1
Common Grackle - 2
Brown-headed Cowbird - 4
Purple Finch - 4
American Goldfinch - 15
