I'm reporting for a friend that saw a male Rufous hummingbird perched in an elm
across the pond from a vegetable garden in Potomac Overlook Regional Park in
Arlington. The bird was seen yesterday, Nov 28. There were also 18
Golden-crowned Kinglets in a flock nearby.
Last week in Silver Spring, I had 2 female Purple Finches at the feeders, with
a Red-breasted Nuthatch a few days before that.
Will post again if the hummingbird starts coming to a feeder that is in the
park.
