While scouting for winter birds today, we came across a SCARLET TANAGER hanging
out with a flock of Purple Finches. We watched it in the area for about 1
minute, but never got close enough to tell age or gender - it could have been
female or male (green with black wings - no wing bars).

Relating to Roger Clapp's post about finding mostly female PUFIs, among the 25+
we found today, there were only 2 males.
