Lynchburg's 67th Winter Bird Count was held today, December 15. The
compiler will post the highlights after all the results are in, but I
think that Lynchburg may be in contention for the "high count of
hummingbirds" this year in Virginia. We had two Rufous and one
Black-chinned on the Count today. All of these birds have been banded.
