As a follow-up to the Baywatch waterbird migration program surveys, just north
of Kiptopeke, begun in 2013, Coastal VA Wildlife Observatory is beginning a
Seawatch, with the same goal of adding to our knowledge of waterbird movement
along the coast.
We are lucky to have Frank Fogarty as our coordinator of this new initiative,
which will be run by volunteers as a citizen-science effort. For those wanting
to help out or wanting more information, contact Frank at fogartyfa@xxxxxxxxx.
The two sites that will be used are Little Island Park and Rudee Inlet.
