VA Birders,
This weekend, my family and I spent the weekend in Shenandoah National Park.
We stayed at Skyland resort and I birded many of the nearby trails. I have
included a report summarizing my observations for the following trails:
Limberlost, Stony Man, Rose River Falls, Hawksbill Mountain, Cedar Run and
Skyland resort. Each trail had a slightly different mix of birds. Limberlost
trail had the greatest species variety of the trails. Stony Man had a nice
overlook with Peregrine Falcons. If you have any questions about where I found
birds, feel free to send me an email.
Good birding!
