This morning, I made a quick trip to Staunton River State Park and found a
few shorebirds and terns.
Seen were as follows:
Caspian Terns - 4
Common Terns - 2
Semipalmaed Plover - 4
Sanderling 14
Spotted Sandpiper -1
Pectorial Sandpiper - 4
small peeps - 15
Great Egrets - 44
Great Blue Herons - 20
Bald Eagles - 2 adults
D C Cormorant - 1
