Hello all
This morning I made my full round to all the local ponds . The Shorebirds
numbers were few but had a good assortment of them . Below is a list of birds
today . Most of the Shorebirds were at Quillen's .
Great Egret --1 at Smith's -- this one has been around for a couple of weeks
now .
Great Blue -- 5
Green Heron -- 4
Killdeer -- 5
Spotted Sandpiper -- 11 -- peak count -- Smith's , Bells Lane , Quillen's
Solitary Sandpiper -- 16 -- peak count -- Smith's & Quillen's
Least Sandpiper -- 10 -- peak count -- Quillen's
Pectoral Sandpiper -- 1 -- Quillen's
Blue Grosbeak -- 3 -- Swoope
All in all a light day of birding in & around Augusta County.
