Hello all just got back home from a wet field trip out to the Shenandoah
Wetlands Bank & the planted field in Stuarts Draft off of Patton Farm Rd. FYI
Patton Farm Rd is well traveled & there is limited areas that you can fully
pull off the road .Be careful .
This morning 4 birders joined me for a nice wet walk in the Wetlands . We have
4 species of Warbler with at least 6+ Common Yellowthroat , 3+ Magnolia , one
Black & white & 2 Redstart . Flycatcher's -- Peewee 4 , Great Crested 2 , an a
couple that we could not see well enough to ID. Rose- breasted Grosbeak -- 1
This was the high lights of the wetlands .
We then traveled to the field in Stuarts Draft where we have the continuing
shorebirds .
Semipalmated Plover -- 1
Killdeer -- 40+
Least Sandpiper -- 2
White - rumped -- 10+
Pectoral -- 13+

All in all a nice day in the bands of rain from Florence .
