The Northern Virginia Bird Club visited Sky Meadows State Park this morning.
It started off cold and wind, and ended not-quite-so-cold and windy.
Highlights were a Wilson's snipe, 9 yellow-bellied sapsuckers, a Lincoln's
sparrow, a red-shouldered hawk carrying a snake, 10 raptor species, 9 sparrow
species, and a flock of fly-over pine siskins.
