Visitors:
The regulars and Paula joined us today instead of yesterday from the
ANS/MBC trip group for a better day than yesterday.
Weather:
Visibility poor at the beginning of the day, but better than yesterday with
tops of trees across from the site visible. Clearing by 11 then mostly
cloudy the rest of the day with NE winds.
Raptor Observations:
Adult Golden Eagle was an eastern view late in the day with two subadult
and juvenile Bald Eagles following close behind.
Non-raptor Observations:
Caspian Tern flying through and over the gap. Sixteen Monarch butterflies,
a small number of warblers up the trails, and five Nighthawks late in the
day.
