We had our FOS of a few birds this weekend in SW Nelson Co., as well as a few
others that should be headed North pretty soon:
Winter stragglers:
Purple Finch - 1 pair
Pine Siskin - 2 or more
FOS:
DC Cormorant - 7 (only because it's a new Yard Bird)
Green Heron - 3
Broad-winged Hawk - 1
Spotted SP - 2
RT Hummingbird - 1
N. Rough-winged SW - 6-8
White-eyed Vireo - 1
Yellow-throated Vireo - 4-6
BG Gnatcatcher - lots
Pine Warbler - 2
Prairie Warbler - 2-3
Also, on Saturday we had a single Osprey in Rockingham Co.
