Even though the weather of the last couple days doesn't feel to much
like spring, the birds are definitely telling us that spring is coming.
On Wednesdays the Song Sparrows were singing at Meadowlark Botanical
Gardens in Fairfax County:

Yesterday and today a Fox Sparrow has been visiting our backyard (just
outside Herndon). The bird finally decided to come out in the sun long
enough for some decent pictures today:

From all the postings it seems like Fox Sparrows are everywhere.
