Saturday afternoon the Anhinga was easy to see at Stumpy Lake (Va Bch) in a
cypress in the water behind the clubhouse. It was a beautiful male that preened
and enjoyed the day while we observed. He was very easy to see and identify
with only binoculars. His tail stripe was plain to see and dark rich feathers
contrasting with the light color on his wings. I took pictures with my digital
camera. I can tell what it is but the pictures are grainy. Anyone wanting to
see just e-mail me. I don't know how to set up pictures on a website...unless
some birdy person wants to tutor me in the art of setting this
up....hint....hint :-)
