The bird walk on Mother’s day at Dyke Marsh produced 71 species with highlights
including Least Bittern, Great Egret and Black-bellied Plover (seen on the
mudflats). The group had excellent views of multiple Baltimore Oriole pairs and
close male territorial encounters. Fourteen species of warbler were seen or
heard with a fallout of Blackpolls(12) and Canada Warblers (6).
