I observed one swallow-tailed kite flying low over a field on the Eastern
Shore, Northampton County, at approximately 1:35 pm today. The field is located
on the west side of Route 13, adjacent to the Mobil gas station north of
Cheriton and the bird was visible from the gas station parking lot. I observed
it for about 5 minutes until I was distracted and then lost sight of it.
