Buteo Books and The Wintergreen Nature Foundation co-sponsor an evening
with Guido Berguido, a Panamanian naturalist and owner of Advantage
Tours. Guido is one of Panama's top guides, but what sets him apart from
his colleagues is his single-handed continuing effort to preserve an
area of primary forest on the Maje Range, an important bird area and
primary forest remnant near the Darien provincial border. Guido has
dedicated his career to understanding and preserving this rare and
beautiful ecosystem and will share stunning photos and inspiring stories
for an impressive and entertaining evening. Includes a reception with
beverages and hors d'oeuvres. $10 TWNF and Monticello Bird Club members,
$12 nonmembers.
