Hello, VA_Birders,
As the fall banding operations and hawk watches close down, I want to thank
the frequent posters from those famous VA locations. The almost daily posts
from Rockfish Gap, Snickers Gap and the CVWO crew were informative and
interesting. Thanks also to the other banding sites and hawk watches.
Not only do the participants do the field work every day, they also keep
VA-Bird up-to-date with data. Thanks for keeping us informed. Hope to hear
year end wrap-ups from all.
VA-Bird thrives when VA birders share their experiences. If you see a
Gyrfalcon fly through Nelson County, it makes a very loud noise when you
post to VA-Bird. Have a safe and birdy Thanksgiving holiday, and post your
VA birds when you get to a PC.
