Hi all:
Walked arund the island today. Remarkably quiet, even for this time of year
--although I have never thought of this site as being particularly productive
Not one woodpecker, seen or heard! Had one Nuthatch, one chickadee, 5 Carolina
Wrens, 5 Mallards, Heard one Red-tailed Hawk. Not one crow
or blue jay. Oh, and one Great Blue Heron.
The highlight was a lone Pied-billedGr ebe
