Hello everyone!
In the future, to keep my post from being late....all the time it seems, I will
borrow an idea from my friend, Barbara Houston. I will report my sightings
first and follow up with photos shortly there after.
I visited Rap River Vally NWR, Wilna tract on 5/31/2012. I left home, in Glen
Allen at 4:45 AM and arrived at the Wilna tract just about sun rise. Things
were quiet and peaceful. Almost too peaceful! Very few birds moving about.
Most, I guess, are attending nesting duties.
After getting home, from my trip, I almost forgot I had a meeting that night.
Got in late from the meeting, started to do the report and fell asleep. So if
there is some snoring in this email, I'm sorry!
