Ed Eder and I observed a flock of 185 Tundra Swans flying down river at Dyke
Marsh at about noon today. Perhaps on their way to the Mason Neck Great
Marsh or points further east. Earlier there were many White-throated,
Swamp, and Song Sparrows present on Haul Road. A pair of Bald Eagles was
engaged in courtship displays.
