This is not to start a thread on the pros and cons of falconry and anyone
who feels compelled to respond should do so off line.
Today I received word that a local falconer has trapped a partial albino
RED-TAILED HAWK that was in the area of Wintergreen, VA.
I strongly encourage future postings of certain raptor species, especially
those with unique plumage such as partial or full albino, exclude all
reference to exact locations so that hopefully others may be able to observe
and enjoy these rare individuals and that they can continue to remain free
and wild to soar on the wind and not be trapped and confined by an
individual for their personal enjoyment.
